PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
Children who are unfortunate enough to experience the foster care system are often faced with a lot of challenges, both mentally and emotionally. For example, when removed from their home, they are given a trash bag to put all their personal belongings in. They then carry this trash bag from home to home until they are finally placed. The trash bag becomes tattered and illustrates their journey. Village Connection aims to reverse this stigma by providing Love Bags and other special projects.
Foster Care Love Bags
With a passion to help kids in foster care, this initiative lets them know that someone cares. We want to make a difference in their lives by allowing them to carry their belongings in duffel bags instead of trash bags. Each kid and teen duffel bag, known as a Love Bag, will include toiletry items, toys, books and a card.
Homeless Outreach Bags
Caseworkers choose their line of work because they are passionate about the well-being of children. Yet we recognize that caseworkers often are overburdened with paperwork and have an extremely heavy caseload as well. With this initiative, our goal is to let them know how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Village Connection has partnered with Innovative Fitness to provide Educational Scholarships to children aging out of Foster Care and going to College.

Currently, we serve the Atlanta Georgia Metro Area including Cobb County, Fulton County, Forsyth County, Dekalb County, and have extended to Muskogee County.
