Village Connection Inc. is a 501©3 Organization serving in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area and select surrounding counties.
MISSION & HISTORY.
At Village Connection Inc., we're on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children in foster care, their foster parents, and the social workers who support them. We do this by offering a range of resources, education, and love to help them thrive.
But our story doesn't stop there. In 2019, founders Brandon and Everlean Rutherford began preparing care bags for homeless individuals in their community. Filled with essential items like toiletries, food, and a blanket, these bags provided much-needed support to those in need.
As foster parents themselves, Brandon and Everlean saw firsthand the struggles that children in foster care face, often carrying their belongings around in trash bags. That's why they started preparing "love bags" for kids experiencing the foster care system, filled with toiletries, a toy, and a learning item to brighten their days.
Now, through Village Connection Inc., they're expanding their efforts to help even more people in need. By starting this non-profit, they hope to make a lasting impact in their community and beyond.
